heeeey folks,

Does anyone know who owns the UK Performance Rights for Notre Dame de Paris? So far, I can find the russian and korean rights owners, but no UK!!! It's not French or Weinberger.

Any help would be much appreciated! Grin

Luc Plamondon is Canadian, so this might be a good place to start:

Many thanks John, i'll go hunting... i'm determined to find these performance rights!!! I know it was Michael White who produced it in London, do you know what his production company is called?

If that's the same Michael White who produced the original stage version of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" with Lou Adler, then his CV is here:

I don't see "Notre Dame de Paris" in there, as it looks to be mostly TV & film.

Yeah it's the same Michael White, was reading up on it. Although I got a reply from the Canadian Songwriters Union that you directed me to.... Apparently I need to contact EMI and get in touch with Luc Plamondon through them personally, as he  exclusively controls the rights to all of the Notre Dame de Paris songs that were translated into english.

This is proving to be the most difficult search for rights ive had! Tongue

Well, you seem to be making progress albeit slowly. It will just make the show that much more rewarding when you finally get a result.

Sorry to hear that. Amazon have a few copies of the French import CD. It might be worth investing in one and trying to glean some information from there.
